In 1994 Suge Knight paid 2Pac $20,000 to do a song for the Murder Was the case soundtrack. Life's So Hard was redone in August 1994 for the album with an alternate Daz Dillinger beat, extra 2Pac verse and featured Snoop Dogg on the hook but again didn't make the final tracklist. 2Pac talks about this in his 1996 interview with Sway.
