BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — A Johnstown man will spend the rest of his natural life behind bars for the repeated rapes of a Pennsylvania child in 2019, officials announced Friday.According to Blair County District Attorney Pete Weeks, 49-year-old Brian Cinko has been declared a sexually violent predator and was sentenced to 104 years and six months to 209 years incarceration.Cinko was convicted by a Blair County jury in December. The jury found him guilty of all charges including rape of a child and aggravated indecent assault of a child.Cinko had been charged in late 2019 following an investigation into allegations that he had sexually assaulted an 8-year-old child over a two-month period.Prior to that, Cinko was convicted of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse in October 1993, according to the Pennsylvania Sexual Offender Registry, and he was registered as a lifetime sex offender in August 2018 after serving over two decades in state prison. The sentence is believed to be one of the largest sentences in Blair County, Pa. for a case that didn’t involve homicide.
